Thanks! So far, my experience has been identical to every other Dr. A post I've ever seen. Very reassuring!

Thanks for posting this info and pics!!

I am planning to be there this time next month and I love seeing and reading about the trip!

Did they give you any kind of pre-op diet to follow, I emailed that question to Nina but have not gotten a response on that yet.(just asked her last night)

Thanks again, I hope you have an easy recovery and can't wait to hear all about it when you feel up to it!biggrin.gif

Dr. Aceves is AWESOME! Good luck tomorrow. The sleeping aid really worked..AHAHHA! Keep us posted!

Hello pneal,

did you mean for your signature line to have 2010 as your surgery date, or 2011?

Just noticed that

That's so awesome. I'm scheduled with Dr. A next month. The pictures are great! Thanks for posting your journey and GOOD LUCK!

Loved the blog. You made my have a good laugh that you were the scariest one because you had no make up on. I am a week and a bit behind you and not believing that this is going to happen. Keep us posted on your progress.

you're welcome...I hope it helps. I didn't have a pre op diet because my BMI is less than 40. I believe they only do pre op diet for over 40. I plan on doing lots of pics over the next few days and if I get brave, maybe a video or 2.

That would be great! I would love to see some videos! Take us on a walking tour of the hospital if they will let you!

Quick question, I will be flying into San Diego the night before, too, so that I wont have to leave home before daylight the day of pre-op. If you don't mind, how much was your room at the Hilton?

No clue. I travel alot so I just used my Hilton points. Someone suggested the Hampton Inn but I'm just not a big fan of the Hampton. My room at the Hilton was beautiful.

I have a few pics of the room and view. Just don't know how to imbed into this post.
