I have been on this journey since june. i am 306 and my goal is 150. I have completed all the requirements for insurance and team approval. So now they are just waiting for insurance approval. I am so happy and nervous and impatient!! I know this is the right choice and I have come so far. I just hope it happens SOON!!! I am ready to get healthy!!!

The waiting is the hardest part. My company-self funded insurance first had the guidelines of 12 months of supervised diet but when I call the actual carrier it was only 6 months. By that time I was at my 6 month mark so I was able to start with the surgeon and submissions. I had started my journey in February with the seminar. I was sleeved Dec 1st and am loving every minute of it so far. I was one of the lucky ones and have no complications whatsoever but I am following my doctor guidelines religiously. I do not have as much to lose as you but I am already down 30 lbs. My insurance once they had all the paperwork gave an answer in 24 hours and called the doctor's office who called me to scheduled the surgery. It is a great feeling to get the call. Hoping they approve you quickly.

Me too! Congrats on your weight loss!!! I only needed a 3 month diet but it has turned into 6 months with all the extra appt and hoops I had to jump through. I am glad I have the knowledge and am prepared but I feel it needs to be done yesterday. I have bc/bs IL and they said it takes 14 days.
