Can't Sleep!

So, my surgery is tomorrow at 8:30, have to be at the hospital at 5:30 and I cannot sleep! I think I'm excited and a little nervous, but mainly just afraid I'll oversleep and miss the surgery. Am I crazy or did anyone else get this paranoid just before surgery?

Same thing happened to me. I had to be there at the exact same time too. I really didn't sleep. The good news is you'll have plenty of time to rest afterwards. think happy thoughts as you go under-I'm sure everything will be great-Check in with us when you are newly szleeved.

Best of luck

I was soo nervous. My surgery was for noon on Oct. 27th 2010 but I had to be admitted by 9am! The night before I couldn't sleep at all. I stayed awake until 7am the morning of my surgery. I was excited to know I was starting my new life but also nervous and scarred of the whole surgery hospital thing...One positive about being tired when I got admitted I calmed down instantly with the first med they gave me for my nerves.. Good Luck too you...
