Hi Everyone - I'm 5 days out and doing fabulously! Just a quick question.... I have 4 incisions that were covered in bandaids but have steri-strips over them. I removed the bandaids and will wait for the steri-strips to fall off on their own. BUT - I have tape and gauze over my belly button - Do you think it's okay to remove it?

Thoughts??

Nevermind - I removed the outer tape and gauze - there were steristrips underneath, so I'm all good.

Thats too funny. I too had steri strips in my belly button. Today, they were itching like mad. So I pulled on them a little and sure enough they came out easy. My belly button looks a little red, but ok otherwise. Today is 7 days post op. Best of luck to ya!
