an AWESOME 10 Weeks so far!!

HELLO SLEEEEVERS!!!

So, today I am 10 weeks out from surgery and I only weigh myself once a week on fridays... SO, this morning I weighed myself and the scale went down again YAY!! ... I am now 40lbs lighter than I was 10 weeks ago!! THATS 4lbs a WEEK!!! and Im only 4lbs away from being at my halfway mark!! I love looking at my ticker and seeing my little bikini girl so close to that middle mark!!! it really puts it all into perspective!!!

SO, I just want to share what I normally do in my days since having the sleeve operation...

in the morning I have a Protein shake with milk... the kind that i drink is called isoflex and im on vanilla right now.. the chocolate and penutbutter chocolate are good too!

I normally have a salad for lunch that consists of 1/8 cup of shredded cabbage, one slice of deli meat chopped into little pieces, shredded cheese, a sprinkle of craisins and walnuts and a sprinkle of french dressing..... it is SOOO gooood for me lol (taste that is)

and then for dinner i usually have some sort of meat mostly ground turkey or chicken spiced with taco seasoning and made into a little taco salad or grilled chicken with some sort of vegetable...

I go to the gym in the evenings at least every other day but sometimes every day... AND i feel great!! :D

NOW, for all of you who are wondering YES i do once in a while have a small snack here and there but i try to avoid slider foods like they are the plague HAHAH... My hubby and I went to a Christmas party and I shared with him a ginger molasses cookie and I did have a hand full of S&V chips... but I knew that this was a treat... it wasnt going to happen every day and so I did not beat myself up about it and moved on with my week

I hope you are all going to have a wonderful weekend!!... for any of you who are into the UFC.. my hubby and I have tickets to see the fight tomorrow night in Montreal... we are so excited.. and I am totally going to wear my high boots that come over my knee!!! YAY!!!

Sleeve, you are doing so AMAZING!!! I know without a doubt you'll make your goal, and you will make it FAST!! I'm super happy for you!

Your salad made my mouth Water... lol :) I might take it as a recipe and try it. I still haven't tried lettuce yet. I'm not sure why but it scares me. No logical reason for it - but that salad makes me want to give it a whirl... :D

Have fun at your UFC event!! Rock those boots lady!!

DIVA!! thnks so much... I buy that pre made coleslaw mix of shredded cabbage and use that as my lettuce rather than actual lettuce... it has a better taste and also I am not into lettuce at all..i dont want it in my mouth hahha... all of my meals turn out to be about 1/4 cup for each serving.. thats what i aim for!!! try it though.. its delish!!!

Ahhhh yes!! Cabbage *does* sound even more tasty!! Funny, I never cared for cabbage at all pre sleeve - but wow I LOVE it now... Heehee!! Thank you so much :D I'll definitely try it B)

Again, CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done :):)

cabbage has always had a special place in my mouth AHHA... SO I am biased about my salad lol... THanks again!! the best thing to remember is to enjoy the process :D

Way to go! You're little bikini girl is soon going to be past that halfway mark, and then before you know it, she'll be at goal! Congrats on doing so well so far, and I love your positive perspective in all your posts. I hope you take a picture with the boots and share it; I'm jealous, because I'm nowhere near being able to wear boots yet, but I'd love to!

Yay sleeve it is great to have followed your journey from pre-op until present. You are rocking that sleeve and those boots I bet!

Yay, thank you so much for sharing. It sounds like you are doing wonderfully! I am yet to be sleeved, so stories like this really make me feel like I made the right decision!!!

CONGRATULATIONS, Sleeve or Bust!! You are an inspiration to us all... especially now that I am just beginning my second week out, and I am SOOOOO sick to death of mushies, LOL.

I do love my Protein shake thought, maybe I'll throw in a teaspoon of Peanut Butter tomorrow just to change up the flavor.

I, too, am losing weight like crazy but occasionally I do have those "what have you done to yourself?" moments, that I guess all of us experience early on.

Keep up the great work, thanks for sharing your diet (there IS light at the end of the mushie tunnel!!), and keep sharing your success.

Are those "what did you do to yourself" moments happen often? That's my biggest fear and regret!!!! :( my sirgery is on wens. I haven't been able to sleep

I think that those are normal thoughts. This is such a bog change, it's normal to have doubts. I am not even scheduled yet and more then once have contemplated why I would do this. Then I think of all the things that I could do to myself by staying so overweight. It brings things back into prespective and reassures me that I am doing the right thing for me long term.
