As of today I have lost...

100 pounds!!

EEK! I am so excited

I have only 16 pounds to go until I am at goal, I have gone from a size 28 to a size 14/16, I am no longer hypertensive, do not have sleep apnea, blood sugars are fabulous and my hormone levels are looking better (I have severe PCOS and androgen disorder).

Were you on Metformin before your sleeve? If so, did you stay on it after surgery as well?

yes, I have been on met since aug '07 and I still take it. I do not take it for diabetes, though. I take it for PCOS.

Does your Endo think you'll come off of it or are you TTC?

Wow, that is terrific! That is a lot of weight in a short time. Wish I could loose like that.... sigh.. Great job! How many cal are you eating a day?

There is no talk of coming off the met at this point. I am not yet TTC, but will be allowed to NPP once I reach goal, which is right around the corner. If everything looks good at my 6 month post op, we will be cleared to move on to medicated cycles.

Thanks! Everyone loses at their own rate, so please dont feel bad! I take in approx 600-800 a day, depending on the day. I have been slacking on the exercise lately and need to get back on it.

That is awesome girl!

You are a star!!!

That is what makes me so excited to get my surgery!!!

Way to go! you look great!!

Wow! You look awesome and your post is so inspirational to those of us still waiting for surgery. Did you have any complications or things that were a problem? Or was it smooth sailing? Have you been exercising? How is the loose skin? Congrats to you, what an inspiration!
