Four days after surgery

Hello everyone,

This is my 4th day after surgery and everyday I am feeling better. However, I am having trouble releasing gas and that makes me feel miserable. Any suggestions? It was a long journey to get to this point but it was worth it. I live in a small town in southeast Texas, 30 minutes from the border of Louisiana. I hope to make many friends and supporters and in return support others. My number one question at this moment is should I be feeling hungry? Confused?

Hi Ronnie. Congrats with your surgery! I just got approved and will have mine on the 13th. I've heard that walking and taking some of those Gas-X strips helps a lot with reducing the discomfort of gas pains. I hope you feel better soon. I know each day will get better and better for you. :001_cool:

Not sure how you mean, but I used a heat pack constantly for shoulder tip gas pains, and Gas-X for the gut wind pain issues.

I was sleeved just 2 days before you and the gas will go keep walking and sipping . It seemed the more i walked the better it got. I'm at day 6 and I feel great Ive got more energy. I go tomorrow to get drain out Hooray. I claim texas as home My family is in Texarkana

Thanks Erika, I know you are so ready. It seemed to took a long time before my big day came, then all of a sudden it was here. I finally walked the gas off. Yeah! Everyday gets better and better. My prayers will go up for you on the 13th.
