  1. my surgery was on august 26 2010. i was a type 2 diabetic but since surgery i have not taken any meds for diabetes. went to see my diabetic dr and she took me off of all my meds, for diabetes, chorsertrol (sp), blood pressure. the only thing i take is multi vitamin, b12,cal and some med for gallbalder

  3. great! It will be good to have it over and on the road to recovery. I had mine 6 days ago at bethesda hospital and i feel great, and you will to bring your protein shakes only about one or two with you. I'm very happy for you
  4. I was sleeved just 2 days before you and the gas will go keep walking and sipping . It seemed the more i walked the better it got. I'm at day 6 and I feel great Ive got more energy. I go tomorrow to get drain out Hooray. I claim texas as home My family is in Texarkana
  5. I am new just had my surgery for the sleeve done on 26th and i am feeling great. I started the journey at 302 and then before surgery got down to 273. Today when i woke up i was very surprised that i was down to 265( six days wow) i never could have done this much without the surgery. I have been following the advise i have read on this web site for a while now It is great. I will keep posting this wonderful jouney.:thumbup1:
  6. i was sleeved on the 26th and ive been on full liquids from 2nd day after surgery. no worries just take it slow. im with you about eating anything else but they told me 2 weeks of full liquids then move to stage three eating.

    6 days out from the sleeve operation and the feeling is great. the weight is coming off at a rate that im pleased with. Before surgery my weight was 302 then at the time of surgery 273. But today i woke up to 265. Yeah. Im not sore except when i go to sit down in a chair from the drain site, and even then no pain after therein the chair. This is the best thing ive done for me in a long time.:huh0:
