More pain on day 4??

I was sent home without any pain medication thinking that the medication I took for my fibromyalgia might cover it. I knew it was not for acute surgical pain. I also had an On Q pump that I was told and instructed how to remove on Saturday. Sunday was tolerable, I was happy to be around my kids, however today has been miserable.

Is day 4 worse than the previous days or is it just me? I called Dr. Castro and to tell you what kind of doctor he is, HE CALLED ME back. I was shocked that he would take the time to pick up the phone and call me himself to see what the problem was. He is calling me in some liquid Norco and he said if that didn't work to call him back day or night. He just gained about 40lbs worth of respect from me, not that I disrespected or didn't like him earlier.

So anyone else have a day 4 worse?

HI, I am on day 4 also, and am having trouble getting all these fluids down. I do ok for a while and then I just have to go lay down. I have gained 6 lbs. sense surgery is this normal?

I noticed once I took my On Q out things were a little worse. It could also be because you're getting more active (like you're suppose to be) that makes you more uncomfortable and kicks up the pain a bit. Call your Dr if things get really bad though.

I haven't been sleeved yet....but I have had an OnQ with 2 of my c/sections. I think it helped hide the initial pain but when it came out is was an eye opener for sure. Hang in there.
