Can you take supplements right after surgery?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to get everything in order before I leave for Mexico & was wondering if you can take supplements during your liquid phase? If so what kind? Chewable, capsules etc.?

Thanks a bunch!!

I had soluble vitamins and I ground up my Nexium and took it with liquid... although it tasted foul ground up.... did that until 1 wk post op when I then split it in 2 and tok it like that.

I was told I could start the chewables right away, but that it wouldn't hurt to wait a couple of weeks if I was more comfortable with that. I think I started maybe 10-12 days out but still let them dissolve in my mouth rather then chew up and swallow dry hard pieces. And that chocolate chewy calcium was (and still is!) such a treat! :)

My sergen has his patients take liquid vitamins there is a pharmacy in town that mixes them to the persons needs and suposidly they are supposed to tast good
