hi, i am helping with caregiving to globetrotter, 5 days post op now, Each day is an experience with the pain. probably the normal kind of pain, coughing, hiccup and of course the knowing you just dont feel good. Learning to "learn how to swallow the water" .
She did notice today though, that her calorie intake was low.
She has been having in the evening approx 6pm, a low grade fever where she gets very flush but says she feels chilled inside, this last approx 2 hours max. The runny nose is periodic, not a constant. At 4 & 5 days post op now, feels better taking shorter walks, rests/sits outside soaking up the vitamin D. Doing well. Thinks about tomorrow being a better day & each day has been a tiny bit more successful then the day before even if it is only by 5 more minutes of a walk. 5 days post op is 1st day no pain meds.
