I have been lerking in the shadows for a few weeks now. Reading all the posts have really helped in my decision to have this life changing procedure.
I am 32 years old from Dallas, Texas. I have been that big girl "with such a beautiful face" all my life. I am scheduled to have the sleeve done on August 16. Dr. Barker is doing my surgery.
Needless to say, like most of the stories I have read, I have tried EVERYTHING. The most I have lost is 30 lbs. I keep it off for about 6 weeks and then gradually gain it all back plus some.
I am so EXCITED to have this done and READY to lose the weight, stop the CPAP machine and bp meds.
Thank you to everyone for all the support you show for everyone.
Can't wait to be on the LOSERS bench!!!! :001_rolleyes:
