This is probably a stupid question, but I was just wondering which one you thought was better for after surgery. I was told I could shower or bathe today for the first time since my surgery on Monday :001_smile: Woohoo! Anyways, I was just wondering which one yall thought was easier... they both have there ups and downs.

No bathing or swimming was allowed for me until all my incisions healed, scabbed over and closed completely.

I showered because it was easier than trying to lug my big butt out of the tub and risk pulling something internally. Remember, they cut through your insides as well so take it slow and easy.

that makes sense. I do think showering would be easier.

I would think showering - as any scabs on your incisions will only get slightly wet rather than soak in a bath.

Enjoy!! I know when I had my last op I loved that first shower afterwards.
