I'd have to go back to my blog to be sure, but I think I lost about 40 lbs between surgery & my first fill 5 weeks later.

I was 240 prior to surgery and weigh in at pre-ops at 235lbs. I have not had a fill yet and I don't know when I will get one but as of now, I've lost 41lbs from surgery date to now.

04/11/2006 till now 41lbs, no fill, 7 weeks out

See you people... that had restriction without a fill and lost weight are sooooo lucky! I know that some of you are "RULE FOLLOWERS" (no meaness intended) but it's 100% easier to follow the rules with restriction.

When you go that first 6 weeks with no restriction what so ever like I did it was like rubbing salt in a $17,000 dollar wound.

Now I finally understand.... and feel good with the rules and my eating life style but man it was sooo hard that first 6 weeks. I'm so jealous of you people that lost.

I'll admit it. I'm a hardcore rule follower. When I set my mind to something there is no other option. I've been called a pitbull a time or two in my life :)

Well I was a hardcore rule follower in that period but am not now. The difference shows, lol. I was simply way too afraid to break the rules.

But I had a marked lack of appetite, it wasnt difficult at all to stick with the rules. It lasted about 5 weeks for me, and then I only had a week to get through till my first fill.
