two things.

1) when does the gurgelling stop (or does it). Its a kind of bubbly groaning that comes from my esophagus. :sad0:

2) how long will i be sore. I'm four days out and its definately better every day. I have never had surgery before so I'm wondering how long until the soreness is completely gone. :smile1:

I am seven months out and still "get the gurgles" sometimes. No definite pattern that I can tell. I'd rather gurgle than be obese, so I'm not complaining about it.

I get the gurgles like crazy. I am only 3 weeks out but they are insane. It doesn't really bother me all that much but makes it hard to drink and eat sometimes. My husband laughs at night when we go to bed and he lays his head on my chest. He said it sounds like a lot is going on in there. I am curious what causes all the sounds. Hope it doesn't last forever though.

I have not had any real pain since I came home from the hospital on the day after surgery, however, today i think I may have pulled something at work as the left side of my stomach and across my back was hurting. It was like a cramp and then itchy needle prick feelings. I don't actually know if that made any sense but hey. I probably just overdid it at work.

good to see you posting heartonmysleeve. I know you had it kind of rough there at first. I've been thinking about you. Glad your doing better.
