10 days post op: diggin the sleeve

Today is day ten. I feel better than I have in a long time! Not hungry for the most part and when I do eat, I get full really fast. I'm on full liquids , but cheated a little with mashed potato and a cooked carrot. Tolerated it very well. I think I'm over all my weird little hang ups. Love my sleeve!

YAY! Congratulations on a great start. I remember that on day 10 my hunger started to come back just a little bit.

Way to Go Girldep!!!

If you made it to day 10, you are doing good!! I cheated a little before that with yogurt! But you know the good thing, I really was not hungrey, it was just habit! You will love your sleeve, and food will no longer be your best friend!! Good luck!

Mashed potatoes have been one of my favs after surgery! For lunch, I will top my potatoes with a few small pieces of grilled chicken, some veggies and cheese. A minute in the microwave and it is great!

Congrats! Sounds like you are doing great!
