5 weeks post op

So far I've lost 27 lbs - wish it was more but still happy... But I've had lots of non-scale victories! I can put my shoes on without using two hands to pull a leg up to reach my feet - they just come up on their own! (TMI warning ...) I realized that I used a public restroom in a regular stall and didn't have to fight to get out of it!!! All my co-workers are saying they see the changes already - I don't see much myself, but it will come!

Thanks to everyone here who has been encouraging me! I'm on facebook if you want to add me - I post my progress and struggles every day... booklady314@comcast.net :-)

Connie, you're doing great so far, keep it up. And, those are really wonderful NSVs especially about the potty stall. Many more victories are gonna come your way ! ! !

Connie- we are close in our surgery dates... my sleeve was done on feb 25. I think you are doing great. I love the fact that I don't see my stomach before my boobs when I look down. We are going to do this...steady and sure. Best of luck and stay in touch.

Hi Connie,

I just passed my 5 week mark this week. It looks like you're doing terrific. I love reading about your NSV's! You've done better than me with the weight loss as I've let go of 19 pounds since surgery morning.
