Now it is 48 days and counting. Judy, you are almost ready to start your pre-op diet! how cool. Have you found anyone going at the same time yet?

Good luck to both of you. I wish one

of you were going to be there when I

am going on the 12th for tests.

Got my date! October 21 I go under the knife yet again.

The nice thing is that the 'pre-op diet' only consists of "nothing but liquids after noon the prior day." :drool5:

I get sleeved 10/7/09. I'm excited and grateful for sites like this. I feel more prepared for surgery and the pre-op diet that will start next week.

Hello w8. Welcome to the VSG family forum. You will find alot of support and info here. Where are you having your surgery? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Ky,

I have learned so much by surfing the site. I am having my procedure at the Cleveland Clinic. I feel anxious but very prepared. I don't usually participate in on-line forums but was encouraged by the clinic; best thing I could have done to get ready:thumbup:.

KayKay, you are getting the sleeve on my b-day. I hope that turns out to be a very good day for you too. I think after people lose their wt, they look 10-20 yrs younger. So happy birthday to the new you!

I am getting sleeved on 10/09/09 .. YAY finally after a whole year waiting and taking classes and waiting ... I finally have a date ... WHOO HOOOO!!!

I know. I can hardly contain myself. I want it to be here already. I hope I can go back to work in a week though. My surgeon said it shouldnt be a problem since my work mainly in front of a computer sitting on my FORMER fat butt ..LOL ...:001_tt2:

I was back to work in a week, could have gone sooner and some did - so I would think you should be able to do so too -- I too work in front of a PC most of the day.

Welcome to the October sleeves month Kiki. Congrats. on your date. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Yeah! You guys are getting close. Does everyone have their dates on the calendar? I feel like a broken record but it is the only way I can keep up! I hate missing surgery dates.

What Calendar?
