  8. Who the neck cares if she sells it. Last I remember this was a free country and even if she is pedaling a product that doesn't work ... we are adults and an make those decisions ourselves DUDE! You're annoying and a bully. I got so annoyed reading this whole conversation. I've been a member for over 3 years now and have NEVER seen this attack and the ADMINS not do a damn thing. I have reported him as well .. this is ridiculous !!!!!

  10. I'm 3 years out. I was almost 300 lbs before surgery and I'm between 190-200lbs now. I've been struggling with these pesky 10 lbs. I want to go down to 150 ... but I've been slacking off. But I haven't gained any weight back which is wonderful. The good thing about this surgery is that when you want to lose weight you can and it comes off pretty fast.
  11. Hello, I'm almost 3 years post op and have only lost 80 some odd lbs. I am so stalled its rediculous. HELP!!! I need to get back on track. Who has a good diet to follow? I know Protein protein protein ... but I need it to be written out for me to follow ... HELPPPPP!!! I am stuggling with the same 10 lbs for almost a year. I lose and gain the same 10 lbs. I'm so done with myself .. ughhhh
  12. I'm 3 years out and have been stalled for almost a year. Been going up and down the same 10 lbs ... I have to get back on track with the original diet they put you on, plus I havent exercised either .. ughhhh .. Shame on me .. anyone have any diet tips ??
  13. Me too. Ive been stalled for almost a year .. granted I havent done any exercise .. gotta start that up again ... sigh
  14. Hi, Ive been sleeved for a year as of 10/09/10 .. 1) How fast are you able to eat now, in comparison to being newly sleeved (solid foods)? Well I have always been able to eat fast, its the chewing that did me in .. LOL .. I can NOW get away with chewing a little and swalling, but I get fuller faster .. 2) How much can you eat now, in comparison to being newly sleeved (solid foods)? I can eat a cup of food now. Before it was more like 1/4 to 1/2 a cup. 3) Just for reference, please tell me what size sleeve you have.- I dont know that .. BUT .. I went from a size 24 - 14 .. Lost 94 lbs so far 4) How dense of food are you able to eat? (ie, steak, chicken breast, etc)- I can eat everything now. Bread though, FILLS me up really quickly and if I dont chew it enough I feel like I get stuck ... Yes even with a SLEEVE I feel stuck. 5) Are you able to handle bread of any kind? - Yes, but I have to chew chew chew 6) Is there anything at all that still gives you trouble to eat this far out? - Just bread .. 7) How is your energy level now? - LOW .. I mean I can climb stairs now but I am Vitamin D and Calcium deficient now so I get tired quick, plus I hate taking medications of any kind YUK! 8) How do your scars look now this far out (for those who were Lap)? They look like tiny strech marks, you can hardly see them. 9) What is the one thing you enjoy most now since surgery? (Can be anything, not necessarily food related)- Clothes. I fit into some what normal clothes 10) What is the one thing you regret most being this far out? (Again, anything goes)- sometimes I get off track. These lasts months have been a doozy. Ive been gaining and losing between 2-5 lbs. Like a yo-yo ... not good, but will get back on track ... Hope this helps. Congrats
  15. Yea I am 5'3" and 202lbs and am in between 16 and 14's. Its weired. I guess it depends on the brand. Old Navy I'm 14 but Gap and New York and Co I'm still 16, well sometimes 14 if they have a little stretch .. it really depends on your body I guess. I have a smaller waist but big booty and thighs ... hmmmm??? I want to be a 10.
  16. are you drinking while eating? That might be why.
  17. I was on it, not a problem. Dont cancel just because of it. Its fine :-)
  18. I also went through Kaiser. Same as the person above. Had to do the 6 month classes (YUK) and had surgery with Dr. Zane. What surgeries are you thinking about having? Sleeve and Bypass? I know Kaiser is not doing Lap band, so I am assuming you are think of the latter two. I dont regret my sleeve for one minute. I too have the bad habbit of drinking and eating. I still do it .. shhhhh dont tell. I have lost about 75 lbs so far and want another 40. I have stalled for the last 2 months and I bet its because I do that ... and dont excersise ... BAD ME .. BAD BAD me! Still I know that when I finally kick that habbit and actually MOVE .. I will start losing weight again. Sleeve is your best option. YOu wont have the same deficiencies that bypass pts do. Good Luck
  19. WOW ... the classes are only 12 weeks now? I had to go through a 6 month options class. Took almost a year to get surgery ... lied .. it did take OVER a year. Well congrats and just be patient ... it will come ..
  20. Congrats. I also did the options program. I was also wanting to ask the same question. Why go to San Diego? I also had my Sleeve done by Dr. Zane (LOVE HIM) at Kaiser Harbor City. Are you doing Bypass instead? Well in any case, CONGRATS .. and welcome to your new life ... well almost :-)
  21. I met my BF on here. Isnt that funny? He started IMing me in private asking about the surgery and stuff. Turned out we had the same surgeon and went to the same classes (different times). He live a good 40min away, but so far we have made it work. Have been together for 3 months and so far so good. We are both SLEEVED so we go through all the rough patches together ... he is great. Good luck all. If I did it you can too :-)
  22. Hi Pamela yes I went through the Kaiser in Harbor City. I don't think they have one in Torrance, but I might be mistaken. My surgeon was Dr. Zane and I totally love him. Good luck with your decision. It was the best one I made :-)
  23. I am 4 months out and I have always drank while eating. I just cant NOT drink and eat. Its IMPOSSIBLE for me. It hasnt hindered me one bit. But I guess it really is a personal issue. I can do it though ... Good Luck .. I love my sleeve!!
  24. LOL ... Congrats. I am on the same boat. Just need 7 more pounds to hit onederland but ive been stuck at the same weight for a month now. I want to kick your lil runner too .. LOL .. CONGRATS!
