Finally feel in control

I have been really struggling for a long time, a year at least. I lost all my excess weight and gained a lot of it back. I had a colonoscopy and to prepare had to do a 2 day clear liquid diet. That was Mon. and Tue. I decided to use it to kick start a healthy eating pattern. So far it has worked. I have been eating well and working out. I think I saw that I could tolerate some hunger and not give in. I also got my act together in terms of a clean house, laundry done, healthy food in the house et... That seems to help me stay on track eating wise. I weighed myself yesterday for the first time in months, I just couldn't handle seeing the number. After a few days of being "good" I got on. The weight was the lowest I was hoping for so that was great. I am eating the way I will for the rest of my life. I think I have finally realized what I've known in my head, lifestyle change.

  • Funny how cleaning physically helps us "clean" mentally too. If I ever tell my sister I was scrubbing the tub she says "what's wrong?" Lol

  • Congrats! Sounds like you have great determination!....and a clean house to boot! Awesome
