my port hurts

Banded 8 weeks ago. When I stretch, bend, and even sneeze I feel soreness in the port. I was to the doctor and he no trouble adding 2cc. He said he feels scar tissue but nothing to be done. Anyone have port pain?

for the first month, my port was tender (yes bending, sneezing, moving)

i asked my dr and he said it was the scar tissue forming

felt like it was pulling/stretching...a weird feeling to describe

it does/will get better......however if it red, warm to touch, oozing

then get get your butt to the dr

it will get better

hang in there

I'm 4.5 months out and I have port pains often. My NP says that's normal since it is attached to my ab muscle and located at my waist. Every time I bend or use my core (which is often) I can feel my port. It's not always pain, but it's a sensation that I KNOW it's there. Hang in there!
