Well I right with you, I just have 6 months to wait.. I think it will go by fast ..

Make sure that was your first visit. I started in April but they told me the first one didn't count and March was my official first visit. Also the appointments had to be at least 30 days apart. Rules....Rules.. Rules. (They always find a way to make it complicated). My last visit was Sept. 10 and I was approved on Sept. 19. Surgery Oct. 10. Hope everything goes well. It will all be worth it.

Correction. I started in March and April was my first official visit. Don't know where my head is today.

Well the consultation would have been my first visit but I had decided u proceed so they did my first history and physical , and PFT ,the lung test .my next visit will be the nutrition and my psyh. Eval, then I got to see the nutritionist 3 more times and do the EKG and blood work, toward the end of my visits. And the recommend the sleep study.. So now just got five more visitors.i live an hour away so if I would have not made up my mind at that time I would have had to make another appt. I was just there for 1 hour . It wasn't to bad ..

The six months go by REALLY fast! I started in April and finished this month. My surgery is October 11th. It went by so fast now I'm super anxious! My advice is make all of your appointments in advance and keep them! I went to the nutritionist the first Tuesday of every month. Good luck to you!

I hope it does but I have to go thru the holidays, did u lose any weight in those 6 months ??

I wasn't required to so I didn't. My BMI was also on the low side so I didn't want to drop or I wouldn't qualify. I maintained the same weight (fluctuating five pound) for six months.
