They hook you up to a million wires and then you go to sleep. Well if you can that is.

They are monitoring you while you sleep to observe for sleep apnea, duration and what stage of sleep you experience it. It is awkward sleeping with all the wires but not to the point you can't sleep at all.

So do they so order that after ur consultation ?? Or do the get an approval, from insurance first??

If you want a very blunt and accurate idea, read my blog I have a post on my sleep study. It was kinda scary for me but turned out to be okay...and yes I now sleep with a dream machine.
