C-diff (?)

Has anyone ever had c-diff(sp)? I have been having horrible diarrhea with extreme bloating since 2 days after surgery and went back to see the surgeon. He said that I might have this bacterial infect - so he prescribed flagyl.

After the surgery I just had the gas pains and that deep achy pain from the surgery but was manageable. Then the diarrhea came and was severe and then I just started feeling so unwell!

I am feeling a little better after just a few doses. I'm suppose to take it for like 10 days or so.

Then looked on another site - do some lapband patients abuse this flagyl?

Please go to webmd and get an accurate definition of c-diff. It is in everyone's system. When on large doses of strong antibiotics that kill the good bacteria in our system the not so good ones (c-diff) have a chance to over populate! You don't catch it from the toilet.
