OKOK It technically involves a scale, but not really lol

I weighed in this a.m. at 150.2. I had a fill scheduled for this morning and so I go in and get one done. It's customary for them to weigh you in, so I weighed in clothes and all minus the shoes. Don't you know..that scale said 148. I wanted to focus more on the fact that this was the FIRST time in my life, I've ever weighed less at the docs office opposed to at home- and that's DRESSED! Ok, I think this high will keep me happy for an entire week ahhaha

Yay you! I have had this happen once or twice, and typically his scale is exactly the same as mine, so those days when I weigh less in his office, WITH clothes on...whoo hoo!

Good on you!

You are doing amazing and that is a first. My scale (digital) is always less than anyone's.

That's awesome! I'm going to have to get a better scale, mine always strokes my ego and when I get to the doctor I'm at least 5lbs. heavier.

That is SOOOOOO cool!! I would love it if that ever happened to me! I went in yesterday for my two-month post-op visit, and was 4 pounds heavier in the doctor's office than I was at home on my scale. Granted I was in my nightgown first thing in the morning when I weighed on my scale, and fully clothed (minus shoes), after Breakfast and lunch when I weighed on their scale, but still... I think I would have been jumping for joy if I were you! I always tell them their scale weighs heavier than mine, and I always feel like I'm trying to justify my weight loss. I hate that. But yay for you - what an inspiration! That is beyond AWESOME!!!!! :D

lol Mamma, it's the truth. I always weigh 4+ lbs more at the docs. Mostly because I've eaten, I'm fully clothed etc. But I just remind myself of my weigh in at home..no problem. But this just threw me for a loop hahahaha.

The worse part was Im in Canada and they do kg. I had to go home and do my conversions. It was worth the wait :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
