Dentist help.....

So I'm now 3 months post op. everything is fine my band has 6 in it so I'm feeling it.

I have had half a tooth fall out on me today when eating.. Iv got an emergency appointment tomorrow. I was just wondering as normally if I was to have a filling or anything I would be put under local anaesthetic. With me now having a band will it effect it in any way?

  • Most dental procedures are done using only a local anesthetic. That should not have any effects on your band. I've required more extensive dental work post band, and had no ill effects.

Me too. Had a root canal and a couple of crowns, without issue.

You will be fine! Good luck on your dental treatment!
