I am 6/20/13

I am 6/18/13 doing great. Weight loss since banded is 24 pounds total weight loss from starting this journey in january for my 6 month supervised diet is 53 pounds!!!

How are you doing?

I was banded on 7/26/13. I have lost about 13-14 pounds total (pre-op and post op). About 6 lbs since surgery day. I am a low bmi bandster. I started my journey with a 32 BMI.

Everything is going good. Port area is still real tender. I am having a hard time getting all my Protein in. I needs to start getting my shakes in properly!

But other than that...things are going good!

What about you?

I was 265 at my highest preop and I am down to 230 now 7 weeks later :)

Good luck to you guys and keep it up!!!

Hi! I was banded 6/28/13. It's been 7 weeks and I have lost a total of 24 pounds (preop and postop). I was 206 and now I'm at 182. Yeah! Feeling great! I did go through a plateau four weeks in, but took Mis73's advice, started counting calories, and in two weeks, I lost 4 pounds.

I was banded July 25. Started at 264 down to 240 now. No fills yet. Just starting solid food today. Wish I had lost more but they say many gain weight during this phase so I guess I should be happy with my results.

I was banded on june 26, 2013. I weighed 283 on 6-19-2013. I lost 9 lbs on pro-op diet. I have lost 19 lbs post- op. for a total of 28 lbs. Looking forward to that 30 lb mark. I have had no problems at all.

Banded June 29. Lost 28 pounds pre op and 20 lbs post op. Had my first fill a week and a half ago. 5 ccs in a 12 cc band. Bandster hell right now with no restriction at all.

  • 2 weeks later...

6/21/13 here. Just went for my 2nd fill today. I am losing, but it's been mostly my efforts so far. :)

I seen my dr yesterday for what i thought would be my 2nd fill. But nope no fill. She was happy i lost 10 pounds since my last fill. I now wait till next month to see if i will get a fill. Im down to 204 hopefully i can be in onederland soon!!!

Second fill on Saturday. I now have 7cc in my 14cc band (sorry mistyped 12cc band on earlier post) The only time I feel restriction is first thing in the morning. My doc has said it may take another couple of fills to get me in the green. I go back in three weeks for my next fill. Until then I am still in bandster hell. Have lost a total of 52 pounds now with no restriction. I just keep looking to the future. If I can lose this much with no restriction I look forward to seeing what I can do when I finally hit the green zone!!! Good luck to everyone.

Loosing in bandster hell is a great accomplishment!
