Eat before fill?

I have my first fill tomorrow morning at 8am. I was curious if your docs allowed you to eat before your fill or not? I wasn't told not to eat, but I didn't ask either and now it is too late to call. Not sure what I should do

My doctor doesn't care, however I found not eating 2 hours before the fill helped the fill to go smoother. So, I don't eat before fills.

Mine doc did not care, but like Missy, I did not eat just before.

My doc didn't say either way. I've eaten before and also not eaten. For me, there was no difference. Let us know how it goes.

My doctor doesn't want me to eat four hours before a fill And like you My fills are also in the morning So I never eat because I would have to get up like 3am But I was really hungry about 4 o'clock that afternoon

My doctor allows me to eat prior. He also puts me on liquids for the rest of the day. If they didn't say anything, I'd guess you're fine to eat.

My doc says not to eat 2 hours before. But it sounds from the post it may not matter. I'll still go with what my doc says though. Good luck with your choice.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to play it safe and not eat before.

I will be on the liquid diet for a couple of days afterwards, not looking forward to that again. I just hope the fill helps to cut down my hunger!!
