It seems as though my incisions and my whole tummy area have been itching like crazy.... I was banded on the 24th I know they are healing but its driving me crazy.... I still have steri strips on and plastic tape stuff... Just wondering if anybody else has this or has any suggestions to help lighten up the itching...

Your right, you're healing. My Dr wouldn't let me use anything. Said to just keep it dry and clean. Give your Dr a call, some let you use benadryl cream.

Do you know if they gave you Heparin shots in the stomach? Heparin is a blood thinner. I had the same reaction you're describing and that's what caused it. It went away after a couple of weeks, but it was really annoying.

Yes the did give me one shot of that in the hospital.... Good thinking.. I would have never guessed that... I will bring it up at my week post op appt tomorrow... But it is so annoying..
