Scratchy throat

When I eat chicken or turkey I feel there's something in my throat.... And I can't seem to get it out or even flush it down when i drink...does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I have been told several times that Chicken is one of the foods that most banders have problems with. It tends to get stuck.

Is the scratchy feeling only from chicken and turkey? Or, do you have a sore throat after eating other foods as well?

I'm going into my 4th week post up, I guess this is what being "stuck" feels like.. Omg

So far the only meat I've had is chicken and turkey

I ask because many times I have a sore throat after eating. But this was also pre-band. For me, it's reflux; acid shooting up into my throat.

Just keep an eye on it, and call your doctor if it becomes an ongoing issue. Stuck doesn't happen in your throat, although you can have other sensations at the bottom of your throat when swallowing.

I almost had my first stuck moment after eating ground turkey made into a patty last week. Problem I think was that it was too dry. Guess the extra lean version was the cause.
