HI all ! Banded 6/11/13

Well I finally got banded ! Funny part was I wasn't "Big" enough for the surgery even though Im a big guy. However since I have such severe sleep apnea I qualify! Im hoping it can cure my sleep apnea & if I can loose a little weight in the process it a win-win!!! It's is almost a week after being banded & I feel just fine. I had no complications after the surgery & was feeling real great after 2 days! I been doing the phase 2 for a few days & dont feel hungry at all, I am really surprised by that. Anyway, Things are going great & already have lost 18 pounds.

Thank you, Best advise is follow your doctors orders & go slow, dont rush anything. Then again Im newly banded , so still learning a lot myself. Also, get use to Isopure, it kinds dehydrates your mouth but excellent for protein during the clear liquid phase.

Luckily I get to leave the hospital on soft foods as tolerated!!!

New Whey Liquid Protein is also good to get. 42g of protein in 3.8 ounces. You can usually find them at GNC or WalMart. You must get in your protein & these are great way to get your daily grams worth.
