hello everyone! - scheduled for 5/24!!

Hello everyone!!!!

My sister and I having quite the "bonding" experience as we are both scheduled for surgery with Dr. Miguel Zapata on May 24 in Monterrey, Mexico through Ready4Achange.com.

As she is a RN, at first I was just trying to get her to come with me to Mexico, but the more research that we did, the more excited that she got in not only accompanying me to Mexico - but to be banded also!!!!

A previously scheduled vacation has her coming here to Florida next week. (Mama Mia tix as a xmas present!). We will spend the week together on our pre-op liquid diet. Florida, vacation, liquid diet - doen't sound right does it. I tell her - margaritas are liquid.......

We are both very excited about this process, we only need to lose 50 - 75 pounds each, but we have struggled for decades with this extra weight. Like most we have gained and lost this same 50-75 pounds dozens and dozens of times. Obesity, heart problem, diabetes, knee replacements, high blood pressure and more are all family markers that added to this decision.

I appreciate all the info that I get on this site. I have learned so much from this community. If anyone has info or experiences with Dr. Zapata or ready4achange.com to share that would be great.

Thanks!

Cathy
