I called anthem today to check the status and they said I was just approved today now I wait for my surgeons office to get word and I will be schedule in (looking at a 2 week turn around before surgery). It's exciting and what I want, so why am I anxious?? I'm not as excited as I thought I would be....help!

Ah...not excited and anxious. Not sure what you would call this stage, but it is one of many psychological and emotional changes you will undergo during this process. We've all been there, the closer you get to your date the weirder your thoughts are going to get. But, you'll be fine. Congrats!!!

Good for you! How long did it take them to decide? I also have Anthem and wondering how long I will have to wait to know. I am very impatient......

They submitted my paperwork on 5/28 and I just found out today so 10 business days? And thanks everyone I will be okay just some weird mental hoops this thing has me going thru

Congratulations! I was just approved also! Pretty excited and nervous all at once. Preop appointment tomorrow. Should get a date then.
