Surgery went well! Slight pain near port incision and a little gas pain. Overall I feel better than expected. My biggest issue is how to stay hydrated. I am not a fan of sweets so the sf popsicles & sf drinks are hard for me. Just trying to sip a little plain water every few minutes while awake. Not sure how I will handle the protein drinks...struggled during pre-op. Is there a protein drink mix that isnt chocolate, berry or vanilla? I just do not have a sweet tooth at all. Any suggestions?

Unjury sells plain protein powder that you can mix with any flavor you like. They also sell chicken broth with protein, maybe that would work for you better.

Syntrax Nectar has one I tried that is called fuzzy navel it taste like orange juice kind of. You can find it at BariactricAdvantage.com. Mixes real well, it is not powdery tasting either.

Glad to hear you are doing so well... Since you do not like sweets, have you tried broth or strained soup? I will soon be on the hunt for a different protein shake, I know after Thursday (my last day of pre-op) I will never drink another EAS protein shake again...
