How do you get rid of someone in Private Chat that won't leave you alone and keeps asking for money? I reported it to Alex. But He keeps popping up on private chat it's annoying.

Use your "ignore" option.

Alex got rid of him, but I'm afraid he'll come back with another user name. Is there anything you can do with this kind of stuff?

If you have a user name you can block him in your profile.

that's crazy, I've never heard of that happening, Tell the beggar to get lost!! but YES, use the ignore option, but also if you reported it to Alex I'm sure he will boot the beggar off and lock his account. sure hope you get some resolution

Happens all the time- you just have to keep blocking people unfortunately. I have a long list of blocks for this reason and some people I just find rude.

Goodness people are crazy

I'm not sure how it works here, especially on "chat," but I'm a moderator on other boards and we have the ability to block user names, and also individual and ranges of IPs when necessary. A users IP is usually visible to the site's moderators and administrators. If he comes back, just keep Alex informed. I would ignore him. Most jerks crave attention and he may tire of his game if no one is responding.

This member was banned about 120 seconds after I received the complaint. His IP was blocked as well. If you receive a suspicious private message, please use the REPORT function. If it's in the chat room, please message me directly and block the member by following the suggestions above.

Me either. Maybe they think me being in Australia is too far away? I don't have anyone on a block list either. Never had call to.
