if you keep eating high fat/processed foods and in outrageous amounts, any WLS wont help...its gonna take a total mind change..you either eat better foods or you dont.....

Better quality of health, comes with controlling your hunger with better food choices. The Band has no brain or feelings, YOU are the only one in control of the band.

Best wishes

The band makes it easier to change your own behavior but it doesn't change your behavior for you.

You need to make an effort to change your eating and exercise habits the band will just make those efforts more effective.

The nice thing about the band is unlike other WLS generally you can eat anything in moderation. The Bad part is the band will let you eat anything and some of the easiest things to eat are the things that make the band ineffective or risk damaging the band.

They're right.

I think everything can be had in moderation, so I still eat some old favorites, like candy, etc. But I have a small serving and I do it once every couple of weeks. Not every day. 95% of my food choices are healthy ones. Low carb, low fat, high protein.
