Surgery this morning

Well I'm finally on the post op sides...the incisions where bigger than I thought there would be but other than that and a thirst I can't get rid of my pain is mild to medium.

Trying to sleep isn't really working but I fell asleep for 30-45 min early and I'm thinking the only reason I woke up is because it was time for meds again.

Got there at 630 this morning and by 830 I was getting prepped and the next thing I knew I was partway through with postop recovery and it was 1041 - I believe we were on our way home by 1114 if I read it correctly.

Helpful hint are always welcome :)

Congrats. . Get some rest the next couple days. Welcome to bandland and enjoy the journey!

I've been using my pillow to support my tummy. And sugar free popsicles have been heaven to me. The muscle where the port is still hurts to a point but nothing I cant handle. I was banded friday and back to work today. Goodluck!
