too tight?

I was banded 2/18/13. I have a total of 6cc in my 10cc band. My last fill was Monday it took me from 5cc to 6cc. I have not PB'd or thrown up since being banded. The problem is this. I can SIP my liquids with a straw no issue...my food is now hurting to go down. I take small bites and chew chew chew...Before the last fill I was able to eat 4 oz of food but was still hungry about two hour after eating...now two tablespoons in with pain I have to stop. Am I too tight? Could this get better with more time? What would you do? Thanks in advance and please be kind in your responses. I'm on edge and I dont want to go off on anyone.

I can't give you a definitive answer as to the problem, but my suggestion would be to call your Dr. and ask their advice.

  • Possibly you are too tight. Ask your surgeon for .5 cc removed. see if that will do it. I, too, have a 100 cc band, and can't tolerate my fill beyond 5.2 cc, best wishes,Karen
