May 7th banding houston tx

Just curious if anyone else is having banding on May 7 2013.. It's getting close so I'm getting more anxious every time I think about it.

I've been reading these threads for a few months but didn't register until yesterday so I'm still a newbie to this group and lapband in general.

Any helpful advice would be greatly Appreciated.

Congrats on having the band done and thank you for the advice...I'm trying my best :)

How long did you take off after you had the band placed? My Advocate told be three days..but even though she has the band I'm not sure if that's a reasonable goal to aim for..

I was actually in the hospital for 3 days. I had a reaction to the particular anesthesia they were using (pretty rare). I'd say you'll be in pain but mobile on day 3, starting to feel better day 4, and pretty much fine (with the help of those awesome meds) by day 5. That was my experience. Everyone's different though.

I'm going through true results as well :)

Sorry to here about the complications but it gave me a more reasonable goal to aim for. I'm glad all is well now

Hi Taylor, I met you yesterday at the office. My surgery is Tuesday, so I will let you know how it goes and hopefully be able to make you not so anxious.

I'm trying she told me at least 20 steps a hour.

I had to go to target when I left the surgery and I walked in and out on my own(I did use a automatic chair in the store though)because my dumb A** forgot my pillow on the couch and needed one for a bumpy pothole filled ride home.

Side not though body pillows are under ten at that target and I was told by my coworker I needed on of those so I got a extra- my first one was over 20 at Walmart
