cheated already!!! Help!!!
Best thing you can do is call your doctor's office and tell them the situation. If you're serious about losing weight, you'll be able to do this. A little bit of pain now means a lifestyle changed for the better. Just remember that.

No Fill Today;-(
14.5 in a month's time is nothing to scoff at. If you're losing 3lbs and change a week, that's spot on progression. You're probably in your green zone, just keep doing what you're doing. It's working.

Tomorrow is my surgery day!

what is wrong with me....
I'm pretty sure saying "Period" won't offend anyone, so don't worry about that. Also the combined reaction to the new fill and your bloating from your period combining into one sounds like a bad time. If it gets worse, I'd call your doctor or BASNC. In hindsight, I would track your period and try to schedule your fills for right after it ends.

Had banding yesterday
Don't worry about it. Just keep hydrated for now. I wasn't able to eat a thing for about 5 days after surgery. It'll get better, promise.

Confused, upset
I'm 2 weeks out too and well, you're a braver soul than I taking bites of bread. I mean I've done mushed up chicken curry and rice, but breads I haven't the courage to touch yet. Look on the bright side though! Ya learned somethin'!

Problems eating on workday schedule.
Oh man I hear ya. I'm a 40hr/week code monkey and most of the time I get so involved that I forget to take breaks.

NERVES KICKING IN!!
If you've lost 50lbs in 6 months, just think of what you can do with a tool to help you out. You've done a great job so far and you will continue to do so after your surgery.

Pictures at Half Way Mark!
I see you turned your frown upside down, keep at it!

So frustrating!
Well as far as the "Pigging Out" goes, you can always start your journey even now. Get yourself in the habit of eating the right things in the right portions so it's not as much of a shock to you when you start on your band. Try drinking 64oz of Water every day to start. Then gradually reduce your portion sizes to about 1-1½C. It's never too early to start your journey.

Antibiotics???

Congrats! I got approved first round too! =D

It's finally here!
Well, not much is needed for post op other than a forward thinking state of mind during the 10 day liquid diet. Just remind yourself every day "this is only temporary." Get some Protein Shakes for it. I did strawberry myself. Congrats on the approval!

How soon can i start excersizing??
I guess everybody's different, but my doc gave me the go ahead on any activity except for repetitive heavy lifting. 8 days post op, I've been hitting the punching bag for 3 days now.

Poop
When you get on more solid food you'll have a bowel movement.

Going crazy
Everybody is different. For instance I'm 6'2" so I require a fair bit of calories just to function. If you're below say 5'5" it's going to be a little difficult since you require way less calories per day (about 25-2700) to maintain your weight. Just keep at it and try to create that calorie deficit. Takes ~3500 calorie deficit to lose 1 lb of fat.

2nd week post op, still in so much pain.
I had mine on the 19th, and I've been almost completely recovered except for a little bit of local swelling around the port. I'd talk to your doctor or at least call your BASNC.
