So I just got the call from my surgeons office I go in for my pre op group meeting on may 7. I'm waiting on a call from the person who sets up the surgery schedule to set my date. We're shooting for the week of may 13 which would mean I start my pre op diet next week! Ah it's all feeling real now!

Anyone else getting banded around this time? I'd love to have someone on the same timeline as me to talk to!

Thank you sweetie! My first 5 hours were miserable because I was so sleepy and I didn't know what was the pain from. Now I'm totally awake, I walked 15 minutes and I'm having a Popsicle for dinner and I feel so much better! My pain is only gas so I can not wait to start farting (Oh my what I just said haahhaha!)

I'm glad to see people getting banded on the same day I am! I'm excited and nervous but who isn't?!

Lol @ lolarose... I understand. I can't burp, I've taken several chewable gas x. The only way I get rid of the gas is walking, a heat pad, back massage & farting. Lol sad but true lol

Mine was Friday And today has been a good day, I didn't need any pain med and I just took a shower and I'm going to do my hair now . We will be praying for you!

Hello all,

I am happy i found this forum. I am 14 days into my liquid pre diet. I was supposed to go tomorrow but got pushed back to Wednesday the 15th.

My surgeon is George Fielding at NYU

I had no idea that gas is so bad after, I will make sure i will pick up some Gas X before I go in so I have it when i get home.

Good luck to everybody that was just banded and to all that are going in the next couple days. I know i will be back here on a daily basis calming my nerves!
