Glad its working for you. It would be really hard for me to do that because I hate doing liquids.< /p>

I apologize I did not weigh myself when i started. I know i should not fear that scale but I do.... My main reason for doing it was to make sure my pouch still worked. I had fallen off the wagon... but back on and super happy!!!! :)

Others may disagree, but the 5 day pouch test is not intended to loose weight...it is intended as "Pouch Maintenence"

Read this website: http://5daypouchtest.com/

It is something I do about once per month, but 5 days is more than I need...usually after 2 days I get my restriction back to normal....

Stept04,

It is something that veteran banders do to get back to basics. You should not be doing it until you are at least a year out. I started it today, but next Monday marks three years for me. I have never done it, but am before my husband comes home. We all fall off "the wagon" here and there...and so many of us learn to eat around our bands (e.g. slider foods, and junk food) and supposedly, it is. Reminder to utilize your tool and get back to eating the way we did/do at the beginning of our journey. THAT being said, I am SO glad for the first two days I was not planning on going far from home!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
