My surgery is April 11th

I am having my lapband surgery April 11th in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Unfortunately I've had many surgeries so I am hoping this one won't be too bad but surgery is always stressful. Not looking forward to post op but I am tired of being fat and exhausted so I am determined to make this work.

I want my life back, I have so many plans but the last few years I feel like I have been a prisoner to my weight. In a week this whole thing becomes a reality.

Congrats! I'm 12 days post-op, and felt the same way as you....I want my life back! My weight keeps me from doing things that I want to do, and I'm sick of it.

Surgery is never fun, but keep your eye on the big picture. The post-op issues are only temporary, and then you'll be on your way to a new....you :-)

Good Luck!
