Post op visit

I had my visit yesterday and I've lost 13 lbs 12 days past surgery which is nice.

My surgeon was thrilled but he said don't even think "fill" until 4-6 weeks post op.

But I have no time to Celebrate.

It seem like every time something good happens in our lives something bad has to come and F it up.

My wife got laid off. :o :o

We lost our insurance and I don't have insurance in what I do so we're pretty ****ed!

We're both pretty down. :( :(

My doc gives lifetime fills with his surgeries. I've never paid for one and I've been back 8 times. Check with him and see?

BTW-My wife was laid off a year ago but made lemonade from lemons and is now self employed and doing well. There's a silver lining hiding somewhere for her.

Thank you.

It runs out at the end of the month but her Cobra is totally cost prohibitive.

$2200.00 per month which is outrageous.

yay for you on your WL that is AWESOME!

Sorry to hear about your wifes lay off ( my hubby is laid off too) dont let it derail you though!

Good Job on the weight loss. You should call the dr and tell him about your situation. Maybe he will give you a fill. Good luck.

The Silver lining is you have had the surgery. You probably have some fills included. Check with your doctor and keep up the good work!

Thanks for the support. I'm not worried about fills with my surgeon.

We've paid enough that I believe we're good there.

It's other meds specially for my wife which are very expensive.

We'll do something I'm sure, it will get better.

So sorry for the sad news. Blessings to you and your wife as you weather this new storm.
