Stuck after initial great loss!

I had surgery Sept.29, 2011 and lost 28 pounds almost immediately. I have lost NOTHING since then. I am terribly concerned about this because I have a good fit on my band and do not consume large amounts of food. Been a "fatty" my whole life so I know what to eat and what not to eat and how much. I have not seen my Dr. since day of surgery, only see the practioner for fills. I have not been for a few months because I'm actually embarrassed that I haven't lost any more weight. I have two other friends that had the surgery and they have the same eating habits, same exercise regiment, the whole nine yards, I don't know if it could be a hormone issue or what. Any suggestions? Having said all this, I do know that I have lost more inches than weight because of the size clothes I'm in.Since I've always been this size (5th grade), now 57 years old, am I not supposed to be any smaller, weight any less????

Yes well we all know what to eat and what not to eat.

It'll comes down to accountability.

Are you keeping track of what you eat?

That's where I would start if I wasn't losing.

Track every morsel that goes through my lips until I figure out what was going on.

Just my 1/2 cent hope it helps.

Are you sure that you have proper restriciton? I know it took me 3 fills and 4 mths before I got it right. Didn't lose anything till then. I agree, count your calories. It's pretty scientific, actually. If you burn more than you take in, you WILL lose weight. Good luck!

boy if I hadn't loss I would be right in the office asking for help that's what he is there for even if its all in your head. I lost 10 mos from the beginning and 28 lbs from goal. I went throught all this to finally get it down and have a hard time understanding when someone isn't also.. I wish tons of luck and stuck it up and see your doctor, clean out the junk food and track ever bit you will get it down to..
