  1. I had surgery Sept.29, 2011 and lost 28 pounds almost immediately. I have lost NOTHING since then. I am terribly concerned about this because I have a good fit on my band and do not consume large amounts of food. Been a "fatty" my whole life so I know what to eat and what not to eat and how much. I have not seen my Dr. since day of surgery, only see the practioner for fills. I have not been for a few months because I'm actually embarrassed that I haven't lost any more weight. I have two other friends that had the surgery and they have the same eating habits, same exercise regiment, the whole nine yards, I don't know if it could be a hormone issue or what. Any suggestions? Having said all this, I do know that I have lost more inches than weight because of the size clothes I'm in.Since I've always been this size (5th grade), now 57 years old, am I not supposed to be any smaller, weight any less????
