What's up with that? Why don't we use the chat room? Schedule a date and time we can all really chat with one another...

hey I said that months ago - or was that just last week? lol....yep - apparently when someone WAS in there it appears they are still there - so when we get there it looks like they are leaving......

ok now that everyone is confused - I agree - we should set up specific times so we KNOW someone is there to talk to ??????

It confuses me how so many people seem to want to chat, yet whenever I go into the room, no one is there and no one ever sets a date and time to chat. Couldn't we just have regularly scheduled chats? Like for example, every Monday at 8:00pm Eastern or something like that???

I recommend -- let's leave our chat room box OPEN -- go on and read threads, etc but check once in a while to see if someone is in there - when I first came here - if I hadn't been persistent I might not have stayed - and gotten to meet such great people who are truly my friends in this weight-loss battle........let's try to do better for the next newbie eh?

I don't preach - I'm not rude - but hey - suggestion: when someone NEW or ready to be BANDED comes to visit the chat room -- let's continue our fun/silly conversations....but let's also help them...I am NOT banded so I try to recommend people they might want to Private Message - or suggest a THREAD or a particular POST....we were ALL new once....let's show newbies how friendly we really are! I know there are 'groups' of people who have known one another for a long time and sometimes forget how it feels to be the new person on LBT but I think we can all manage to share with a new person and listen to their questions and concerns. I've met an awesome group of people on here - successful - with and without the band - let's share our experiences with others too!

Can we also ask: Can the FlashChat be fixed so that it FLASHES when someone has typed something? or at least when a NEW member has entered? since it minimizes while we do other things on LBT we don't know if someone else is in there...........
