Sooooo hungry!!!

24 hrs after surgery and I am sooo hungry I could cry! I had to make dinner for my family which included angle hair pasta and sauce for the kids and a tuna fish sandwich for the hubby. It absolutey killed me to drink 4 oz of chicken broth for my meal. My stomach is growling all the time. I have to go through this for 2 weeks? I need some extra support with this one that is for sure! So sad....and hungry!!!! How do you get past this stage and keep the cravings at bay?

LOL! What my hubby can and cannot do is a totally different app! LOL!!!!! But seriously, I am the short order chef in my house so it up to me for the meals. I guess I am just grumpy as I detox my body during this stage. But I am still hungry. :(

I cooked for my kids too during this phase and it was frustrating. However, I just kept reminding myself that this is just a "phase" of the program and I will survive it. Just take it one sip at a time. I also took this time to make my kids things that didn't really tempt me to want to eat. I made them things that I normally don't want. They will get over it.

Good luck and keep walking through it. It will get easier.

Hello, unfortuantely, it is apart of the process. It was a very trying time going through that not eating food phase, but I promise you, you will make it through. I have to honestly say that I cheated a couple times inbetween. I ate mashed potatoes with gravy and lots of broccoli and cheese soup. Broth just wasn't getting for me and luckily my band and stomach/stoma was fine. :D Good luck.
