Oops, accidentally sent before finishing my post!

I was banded on January 31, went for first f/u appointment yesterday which they said was for a "VGA" (vertical gastric adjustment). Nurse weighed me and said since I lost 30 pounds already she wanted to wait til next appt.

I have 3 appts scheduled - 2 say they are VGA and the third is a fill. My question is what is difference between VGA and fill?

What is a VGA?

I have never heard it put that way. The doctor or PA always check my band with floro and just how much of an adjustment I need. So far I have gotten one each month.

Ok I understand

I was told VGA is a "vertical gastric adjustment". Not sure what it is & if different from a fill.
