I am just saying. I took one of the New Whey shots to my nutritionist and she advised me not to take them. Also no they would not count as a meal and will do nothing as far as satisfying your hunger. Depending what stage of food you are in when you get to solids that is what you should be eating.

Yes I had a few but thought they were a meal cause of the amount of Protein so then I wasn't eating I lost weight but wasn't sure if it was okay to only drink them for a meal:)

I also showed them to my nutritionist and she said not to drink them. She said the type of protein they have in them (collagated?) can't be digested and used for protein. So it's like drinking them for nothing. I also did some research and your body can only absorb so much protein an hour and the rest you excrete. I think it's 15-20g an hour

Great post. That is what I was told as well. So glad you posted. Always check with doctor or nutritionist if you are not sure about something.

My doctor recomended I take them and they really help me with my two oclock crash

Thanks for posting that. Just shows us how doctors vary. Either way it is defenitly not a replacement for a meal.
